The Local Government Unit of Villanueva has already been implementing the electronic Business Permit and Licensing System (eBPLS) on August 9, 2021.

Ms. Marlyn Lacaden Achas, the BPLO of LGU Villanueva, testified about her experience with the system during its initial implementation. “The Local Government Unit of Villanueva aims to “adapt” eBPLS for business permit applications and processes. After some rigorous training activities, LGU of Villanueva will be able to successfully generate a business permit using the eBPLS for our applicants. Though we experienced a lot of challenges especially on data build-up, we will be able to conquer those.

During this new normal, the eBPLS introduced by DICT will sure be appreciated for the convenience it would give, with or without the pandemic. Also, this system, will not only help fast-track the Business Permit License to the clients, but it will surely give the data accuracy, organization, and accessibility.
